E36 airbag light reset tool
The Peake tool is NLA, the entire company is gone… about a decade too late. That bug was copied from the Peake tool. Go INPA. I just sold my Peake SRS tool. What do you suggest to check further to find the reason of the problem.
I do not believe that it could be the burnt LED. All other lights come on when I put the key on. May be some smart guy made a trick to make the light dead instead of solving the problem with pretentioneers? I have checked the instrument cluster itself and didn't find any sign of specific action done.

It just takes a few minutes on the tester, mostly spent discovering the subsystems in the car. I did that the last time I had faults in both front firing circuits, and the dealer neither demanded to replace both airbags nor could they.
Sorry -- did not realize that I had left my location blank. I'm in SE Chicagoland. Is there an easy way to look around to do hardware identification, to determine which hardware I have? And to have that tell me exactly what software package I need?
